Oh! how they thrive
On deceit and greed
They do survive
Their promises, just empty lies
We see through their transparent disguise

They hoard the wealth, meant for us all
While the poor and weak suffer and fall
They line their pockets, without shame
Oh, the lengths they’ll go for personal gain

They silence the voices that oppose
With threats, and force, and deadly blows
They don’t care about the people they lead
Their own interests are all they heed

Justice and equality they ignore
Abuse of power is what they adore
Their rule, a game they play to win
Whose cost, many lives we have seen

Corrupt leaders, they will fall
Justice will eventually call
For every time they abuse their power
They plant the seeds of their own hour.
